We are seeking an enthusiastic Project & Admin Coordinator to join us at this exciting time of organisational and artistic development at Mandinga Arts.
Over the last three years, Mandinga has expanded the reach of its work; developing projects with partners across the UK and overseas. In April 2017 the Company appointed an Associate Creative Director and is a National Portfolio Organisation for 2018 – 2022. The Project & Admin Coordinator will assist and work with the General Manager to ensuring efficient running of Mandinga’s office, project delivery, reporting and marketing. We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual who has strong initiative to provide project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Supporting the General Manager in the running of the office and project delivery. Assisting with the management of ongoing project(s), working with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate the successful delivery and wrap up of projects. To maintain thorough familiarity with all Mandinga projects, identifying coordination requirements and contract freelance project management staff as required. Maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders. As a core part of the team, work with the General Manager to deal with ongoing administrative demands and light marketing as required. Skills/Experience Required: Essential: 1-year minimum experience in an administrative / production role Experience of maintenance of budgets Strong administrative and organisational skills Excellent and demonstrable communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work under pressure, prioritising between conflicting demands and retaining excellent attention to detail Experience of working with a programme of activity Knowledge of the arts funding system and best practice. Ability to work independently and be self-motivated Excellent computer literacy especially with Word, Excel and Outlook Passion for high quality outdoor arts and events Flexibility and a good sense of humour Commitment to Mandinga’s goals and values.
