Opportunities

Vacancies

We are currently seeking a General Manager.

Internship Programme

Mandinga has been running a highly successful Project & Administrative Assistant Internship Programme since 2009, and that has seen 18 young people through placements.

The placement is a paid opportunity, and since 2014 the programme has developed to a 6 month period, taking place over the busy summer season. This enables candidates to learn as much as possible about the production, management and administration involved in small-scale arts organisations.

Previous candidates have completed their placements with Mandinga and progressed, some the very next week, to full-time paid roles in the arts sector within organisations such as Rifco Arts, The Point Eastleigh,  The Arvon Foundation, Theatre Peckham, Sunshine International Arts, Theatre for a Change, ARK Schools, Pegasus Theatre, and The Royal Academy of Arts.

Please note: Mandinga's Internship Programme is currently on hold until 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, please check back here then for updates on the programme.

Artistic Work Experience

Mandinga operates an open door policy to artists wishing to learn the art of carnival costume creation.
We can offer short, informal and voluntary work experience opportunities assisting our Artistic Team in the creation and development of our costumes, puppets and structures over the summer periods.

If you're interested in volunteering, or joining us for a short period of work experience, get in touch.
