Funding & Development Manager
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced part-time Funding & Development Manager to join us at this exciting time of organisational and artistic development for Mandinga Arts.
Over the last three years, Mandinga has expanded the reach of its work; developing projects with partners across the UK and overseas. In response to the increased demand of its work, and looking ahead at Mandinga’s ambitious artistic aspirations for 2018-2022, the Company structure has been revisited to maximise its potential and ensure that Mandinga continues to meet its high standard of artistic excellence. The Funding & Development Manager will work with senior staff in the development and implementation of a solid fundraising strategy; taking responsibility for writing bids and coordinating the raising of funds to meet targets.
You will have a proven track record in arts funding, including bid writing for trusts and foundations, and project funding programs. You will have experience in implementing successful fundraising strategies within, or on behalf of, organisations. You will have the energy and enthusiasm to be part of a small but motivated team that ensures Mandinga remains at the forefront of carnival design, performance and delivery both in the UK and internationally.
Mandinga Arts strives for equal opportunities. We are particularly interested in receiving applications from people with diverse backgrounds, including BAME applicants.
How to Apply:
To apply please email us with a covering statement of no more than 2 sides of A4 (the document must be in Word .doc or PDF format). Please also include a CV as a separate document, and include within that two references that can be contacted on request.
